Art Therapy integrates psychotherapeutic techniques with creative process to improve mental health and well-being.
Enabling the participant to express their inner thought’s & feelings in a safe manner that is free from the limitations of verbal vocabulary.
Art Therapy is based on the belief that the creative process involved in artistic self-expression helps people to resolve conflicts, problems, develop interpersonal skills, manage behaviour, reduce stress, increase self esteem and self-awareness, and achieve insight.
It isn’t necessary to have any artistic ability to achieve the therapeutic benefit of Art Therapy. As it does not involve anything recognizable or more complicated than marks & shapes on paper. The healing is achieved as a direct result of “creating” and exploration, not by critical assessment or creating a masterpiece.

When booking your first appointment we will have a brief chat to find out a little more about you and answer any questions you might have.
How long will we work together?
Once you have experienced the first session and you decide that you would like to work with me I will invite you to book & pay for four sessions. At the fourth session we will review together if your goals and needs are being met through the work we are doing and you can choose to book another four sessions or to finish.
Sessions are $110.00 each or $400.00 for a block of 4 sessions.
